Adhikary Electro Chemicals an ISO 9001: 2000 company (A Battery Manufacturing Company) has been started in the year 2001 by Mr. Subrato Adhikary with his two brothers Mr. Somnath Adhikary and Mr. Lakshman Adhikary. Presently the company has able to build up its own brand in pan Indian market. Rigorous testing, R & D and Quality of Product are the main pillars of its success.

After successful running of last 8 years, company has taken the decision to enhance the project. For this purpose constitution of the company has been converted from Proprietorship to Public Limited Company and consequently the name of the company has been changed to Adhikary ElectroChem Industries Ltd. Company has also started its new production unit at Baghati, Mogra, Hooghly, Kolkata-712148.

The company manufactures all types of Lead Acid Battery which are used in various Govt. sectors like Rail, Defence, Coal India Ltd., Kolkata Police, Chennai Port Trust, Mumbai Port Trust, Andaman State Electricity Board, Transport Company, and many other corporate sectors.

More over the company has strong local market network. A huge number of Dealers and Distributors are the backbone of its network in India. The company also has projections to increase its number of Dealers to 1400 and Distributors to 150 all over the country in the year 2009 - 2010.
